Together with our Belgian partner GGS Oil & Gas Systems (GGS) ASaP executed an order for two Phazers (LNG probe-vaporizers) and one common intermittent LNG sampler. The Phazer is developed for direct insertion into the LNG transfer line. The Phazers and LNG sampler will be installed on the world’s largest FSRU which will be moored in Turkey.

GGS Oil & Gas Systems performed the FAT at the ASaP factory and stated:
I was pleasantly surprised by the Factory Acceptance Test of the ASaP LNG Sampler. ASaP had tested the system in-house in great detail and they communicated clearly and transparently on the results that were found, issues encountered and solutions that were applied. All the in-house test reports were available and were shared freely. Apart from a few minor punch list items, the system checked out fine and we expect to be able to install this sampler without any problems. We as GGS are looking forward to our future cooperation with ASaP!

The Challenger, the world’s largest FSRU measuring 345 meters, arrived in Turkey in November last year. The FSRU has an LNG storage capacity of 263,000 cubic meters and has re-shipment and gas transfer capabilities. The unit has a re-gas discharge capacity of 540 million cubic meters per day and is chartered by state gas grid operator Botas.
