As a Service Engineer at Analytical Solutions and Products BV (ASaP), you will have a fun, adventurous, and varied role in a growing organization. ASaP started out providing service on analysis equipment and over the years has grown into a full-service company in the field of gas analysis systems for the (Petro-) chemical industry. Besides representing several leading analyzer brands, ASaP also has a spare parts department and its own product line with products such as the Phazer, flare gas probes and AIM (Analyzer Information Module) and this development continues. ASaP is worldwide number 1 in the field of LNG analysis.

Your role as Service Engineer
You will be tasked with ensuring these systems operate smoothly, identifying and resolving any issues that arise, and commissioning new analyzers. Additionally, you will manage service appointments, provide detailed reports on the work completed, and offer technical and commercial advice to clients. A key aspect of the role involves delivering hands-on training to customers and team members to enhance their understanding of the equipment. Success in this position requires a high level of accuracy, strong customer focus, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in fast-paced environments, knowledge of gas or liquid analysis systems, and strong communication skills in English are also essential for the role.
What are your responsibilities
- Execution of maintenance and call-out contracts, in the Netherlands or internationally.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair of analysis equipment and sample systems.
- Commissioning of analyzer systems.
- Test new analyzers.
- Write clear service reports.
- Advise customers, both technically and commercially.
- Give hands-on training to customers and team members.
Service Engineer job requirements
- High sense of accuracy and structured work.

- Being able to work in a team.
- Being able to work independently and develop your own initiative.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the industry and gas or liquid analysis systems.
- Strong communication skills in English.
